Talurit AB, the pioneering company in the field of mechanical splicing of wire rope, has recently expanded its activities in Asia, by opening the Talurit Ningbo Representative Office.  Thommy Andersson, CEO of Talurit AB explained, “It’s a step in the right direction for us and is consistent with our global plan for the Talurit Group. Muncy Industries New Louisiana Facility Goes “Live”

Muncy Industries is proud to announce the recent opening of our new satellite manufacturing facility in Lafayette, Louisiana. To celebrate the occasion, a crawfish boil was held as part of an open house and grand opening on March 23, 2012. Independence Day came early this past year at Charleston’s Rigging in South Carolina – at least that was the joke circulating around family get-togethers in the Sawin family last summer.  July 1^st, 2011, marked the date that new owners and siblings Jessica Sage and Skip Sawin took ownership of Charleston’s Rigging and Carolina’s Rigging from parents Rick and Valerie Sawin after 23 years in business.  Jessica and Skip grew up in and around the business, actively engaged at various times and undoubtedly involved by necessity at other times as all family businesses operate.  Most recently, Jessica has served as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Skip as Chief Operating Officer (COO) and both will continue to serve

Loos & Co. Supports the Hole in the Wall Gang Camp

Following a string of donations to aviation maintenance programs at universities, Loos continues its philanthropic journey by donating wire products to The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp. These donations will be used to make wire sculptures at the Camp’s Hospital Outreach Program.
