The Ulven Companies Promote Tammy Sievers to Director of Human Resources

The Ulven Companies are pleased to announce the promotion of Tammy Sievers to the position of Director of Human Resources.  Sievers has been working in Human Resources for the Ulven Companies for over 16 years and has continued to take on increased responsibilities in the area.

Shortly after she was hired, Ms. Sievers performed a variety of tasks in Finance and Accounting, which then lead her to handling various HR functions throughout the company.  From there she worked as an area manager for many years before being promoted to her current position.

In her new position, Sievers will be working on developing Human Resource programs for TUC in such areas as organizational development, indoctrination and training, employee relations, and employee compensation and benefits. She will also be working to improve safety and health and the overall culture of the company.

Company President, Dan Ulven noted, “We chose Tammy because of her ability to handle the challenges of this position both quickly and fairly. She was by far our best candidate for this position.”

Sievers attended business school in the Midwest and continues to take HR related classes.

The Ulven Companies have been in the forging industry for over 40 years – starting with the creation of Ulven Forging, Inc. in 1971. The Ulven Companies now comprise a group of five different American companies and are privately held. Each company has their unique set of capabilities in different areas of the industry—such as Forgings, castings, CNC machining, wire rope blocks and rigging. Together they bring high quality, cost effective products to their customers with reliability and integrity.
