Elite Sales Announces Blue Chain Grade 100

Elite Sales, one of the US foremost importers and wholesale distributors of Wire Rope, Cable, Strand, Chain and Hardware, recently announced a new product to their line: Blue Chain Grade 100.

The biggest difference between powder coated blue (grade 100) chain and other chains is that grade 100 (powder coated blue) chain is mostly used for lifting. This chain is also typically used with clips, hoists and slings. No matter what needs to be lifted, grade 100 (powder coated blue) chain is the most common grade used for lifting due to its superior tensile properties.

Although a considerable amount of powder coated blue (grade 100) chain is made in the US, it is usually more costly than the powder coated blue (grade 100) chain manufactured in China. Chinese powder coated blue (grade 100) chain, which is available through ESI is significantly less pricey than most domestically created powder coated blue (grade 100) chain.

It’s important to note that powder coated blue (grade 100) chain should not be used outside of the -40º F to 400º F temperature range. There are specific working load limit reductions for powder coated blue (grade 100) chain used at and after exposure to elevated temperatures. Anyone planning to use these types of chains under those stressful circumstances should consult with the chain manufacturer first.

Elite Sales is excited to announce Blue Chain Grade 100 to their product line.  If you would like more information or to contact Elite Sales, please visit their website: www.elitesalesinc.com.
