ICUEE, the International Construction and Utility Equipment Exposition is held every two years and focuses on the job needs of utilities and utility contractors. Attendees can test-drive the latest equipment, watch live demonstrations of new products and technologies, and take advantage of best-practices industry education.
Deadline is August 30, 2014 for priority exhibit space selection; space is then assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
Attendees Cite Value of Hands-on & Live Demonstrations
ICUEE is known as The Demo Expo because there is no other event that offers the number and scope of hands-on and live demonstrations for the utility industry. In fact, 84 percent of ICUEE attendees say the opportunity to operate equipment and watch product demonstrations at ICUEE influences their buying decisions, and 90 percent say that the demonstrations have an impact on their decision to attend the show.
ICUEE 2015 will feature specialized exhibit pavilions for fleet management, safety, and green utility, plus a Ride & Drive test track (for on-road equipment and technologies) and indoor Demo Stage, in addition to the extensive in-booth exhibitor product demos.
Some 98 percent of attendees at the last ICUEE said the show value was good to excellent; 77 percent had purchasing authority for their company (5 points higher than the industry average).
Attendee comments from post-show surveys included:
- “It provided me the opportunity to get good information on some products and equipment we plan to purchase in the future. The hands-on portion of the show was what convinced me to purchase these products and equipment.”
- “I was extremely impressed with the professionalism and organizing of this show, this was first class all the way and very informative.”
Exhibitors Showcase Products to Qualified Buyers
Some 84 percent of exhibitors at the last ICUEE agreed the show was a high-quality exhibition that benefits their company.
Exhibitor comments from 2013 post-show surveys included:
- “Great networking with our customer base, good leads on potential business.”
- “The show gave us the opportunity to get approximately 800 operators into the seat of one of our machines. It would be very costly if we had to drive to each customer site to give them a demo!”
For added value, ICUEE 2015 provides exhibitors with marketing assistance to help connect with customers and prospects and increase booth traffic. The show offers free electronic and print marketing materials and a variety of sponsorship and other marketing opportunities, including customized options.
ICUEE 2015 exhibit product categories include: aerial (lifting and crane); aerial work platforms; automation, controls and services; engines/components; fleet management; green utility products; ground engaging equipment (drilling & trenchless/HDD); heavy equipment/vehicles; industry services; jobsite tools (safety, lineman/test equipment); line materials – system infrastructure; line tools & equipment; material processing (chippers, crushers, grinders), safety; trailers; truck & truck bodies.
ICUEE Delivers Quality Show Experience
ICUEE covers 25 acres of indoor and outdoor exhibit space. The show perennially places among the top expositions of any industry in the U.S. in exhibition-industry rankings; ICUEE 2013 captured the number-two spot for the year (at more than 1.17 million net square feet) in the annual “top trade shows” list of the Trade Show News Network online media resource.
Delivering a quality show with measureable value for exhibitors and attendees is a key reason for continued success, according to show owner and producer AEM, the Association of Equipment Manufacturers. AEM shows are industry-run in which participants have a voice in show planning, industry partnerships enhance value, costs are carefully monitored and revenues go back into industry services.
