NCCCO Launches Boom Truck Operator Certification Program

The National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators (NCCCO) today made available the first phase of a new CCO certification program specifically designed for boom truck operators.

The new CCO Boom Truck—Fixed Cab (BTF) operator certification is a subcategory of the CCO Telescopic Boom—Fixed Cab (TSS) certification and was developed specifically for the industries that use these machines such as building supplies, HVAC, sign installation, and tree maintenance. Crosby Releases New Website

2014_WebsiteCrosby is pleased to announce the release of our newly redesigned website. In an effort to serve customers more efficiently, Crosby has added more functionality and improvements to the site.  Search for product has been simplified through new product/industry selectors and global site search. For convenience, the many resources and tools designed to assist customers in their various planning activities can not only be found in the main navigation of our site, but also with the product to which they specifically pertain.  CAD data, one of these many resources, has a simplified sign up process and 3D drawings are now offered in addition to 2D.  A Career Center has also been established to reach out to potential employees and interns.

LEEA Launches Practical Training Courses for Overhead Lifting Equipment Engineers

Bishop Lifting Adds New Talurit Swager Machine

Bishop LiftingTo continue to serve the ever increasing demands of the offshore industry, Bishop Lifting Products has added a new wire rope swager in the Houston Rigging Department. The new 3700 metric ton Talurit swager was installed and operational in early November. The new capacity will allow BLP to swage up to 6 inch diameter wire rope. This will be replacing our 1500 ton swager which is being sent to the Broussard, LA branch as an addition to their current Rigging Department.
