The program consists of an eight hour inspection and repair training course intended for ETCP certified riggers and electricians. These hoists are available in capacities from 1/4 Ton through 2 Ton and are offered in standard single speed and under-the-cover, variable frequency drive, dual speed. Harrington Hoists, Inc., recently leased 97,000 square feet of commercial property in the Elizabethtown PA Conewago Industrial Park. The company will occupy the space in early December and hopes to be fully operational by May 2013. The company has begun to hire new people to begin operations at this facility. Additional workers will be hired after operations begin in April of 2013.
Harrington Hoists, Inc. has introduced their new dual speed, single phase, ED Infinity Electric Chain Hoists. These hoists are offered in 125, 220, 250, 350, 400, 525 and 1050 pound capacities. The pendant on the hoist is equipped with easy access external speed adjustment knobs that enable the operator to quickly customize the high and low hoist speeds. A new range of electric chain hoists, in capacities from 125 to 5000Kg, has been launched by Street Crane Company, the UK’s largest crane manufacturer. Designed for durability and high productivity, the LX electric chain hoist gives precise and safe lifting for a range of industries. Commenting on the aims and achievements of the project, Street Crane managing director Andrew Pimblett noted, “The new hoists are aimed at the volume market and are ideal for localised workstations and production line applications where they might typically be used on jibs, monorails and light track crane systems.” Continue reading
