The troubleshooting video contains pertinent information regarding finding solutions to common problems with electric winches. The electric winch is considered to be one of the most reliable pieces of pulling equipment. To ensure proper execution of a pulling or lifting job, it is important to have the correct electric winch. LGH offers a variety of electric winches ranging in capacities from 750 to 3,000 lbs. Lifting Gear Hire (LGH) recently donated a Modular 24 Spreader Beam with top rigging to help the Building Community Making Connections (BCMC) and Operation Finally Home. LGH donated a Mod 24 spreader beam with rigging to help place the roof on a deserving soldier’s new home in San Antonio, Texas.
BCMC partnered with Operation Finally Home to build a home for a deserving United States Veteran. Specialist Cody Nusbaum’s unit was ambushed by Taliban fighters disguised as Afghan police officers on August 24, 2011. Since that day Cody has gone through over 65 surgeries. After a series of revolutionary procedures to repair his hip and leg, and five months of painful physical therapy, Cody recently took his first steps–fifteen months after the attack. Continue reading

The new warehouse, located at 1887 Elm Tree Drive, will help LGH provide faster equipment rental turn-around times for customers in and around the Nashville, TN area. In addition, the new warehouse will also provide an expansive selection of rental equipment, larger scale rental equipment choices and more dock space for convenient equipment loading and unloading.

The Habitat for Humanity homes to be built come partially pre-constructed. LGH provided a Modular 24 Spreader Beam, at 20’ length, to help assist in the placement of the walls and roof.

We are proud to announce that Dan Pittman (Northeast Sales Manager) has been named LGH’s new Business Sales Manager. Dan will oversee the sales department in its entirety, and work to ensure that the highest quality of customer service and equipment will continue to be provided to all our customers. As a result of the move, Pittsburgh Rental Representative Tom Tutty has assumed the role of Northeast Regional Sales Manager.
