Van Beest EXCEL Eye Grab Hooks

Van Beest has expanded its range of EXCEL® Eye grab hooks with a smaller size, which is suitable for chain diameter 6 mm. The range now extends from 6 up to 32 mm.

These grab hooks can be used to shorten a sling. The throat shaped opening and deep chain pocket
will hold the chain firmly in place. The saddle at the bottom of the hook gives full support to the
chain link so there is no reduction in WLL. Continue reading

Renewed DNV Type Approval Certificate for Van Beest

Van Beest Introduces New Type of Master Link

Van Beest Master LinkVan Beest introduces a new type of master link and master link assembly to the program. These master links are DNV type approved to certification note 2.7-1, lifting sets for offshore containers, certification no. S-5678. They can be supplied directly from stock.

In oil and gas production, safety is all important. The working conditions are tough and products have to be able to sustain extreme conditions. Van Beest Introduces New Sockets

Van Beest has expanded the Green Pin socket range with two new types: Sockets with safety bolts and Open Wedge Sockets with safety bolts. 

The sockets are used to attach steel wire rope to a fixed point. They are the strongest steel wire rope end fittings available; if they are assembled properly, they meet at least the breaking strength of the steel wire rope.      Continue reading
